Shamol Bangla Resort is a peaceful getaway near Bosila Bridge, close to Dhaka, offering a blend of nature and modern amenities. Surrounded by lush greenery, it features spacious, well-equipped rooms, a clean swimming pool, a mini zoo, and various recreational activities like boating and nature trails. The resort caters to families and couples with a range of accommodations from budget-friendly to premium options. Guests appreciate the friendly staff, delicious local cuisine, and well-maintained facilities. While some find it a simple venue mainly suited for picnics, others praise its efforts in maximizing space with thoughtful decor and entertainment options. Overall, it’s a great spot for relaxation and a fun-filled day with loved ones.
Not the best of resorts. Seems like the design lacks taste. Has separate swimming pools for male and female. Best thing is that it's close to Dhaka city.
This resort is a haven surrounded by green on all sides, with a nice mini zoo and a clean swimming pool. The rooms were very spacious and modern. The staff are very helpful and polite. The food exceeded all expectations. Overall the experience was quite pleasant (pog)
Shamol Bangla Resort is a convenient getaway from Dhaka, providing a peaceful atmosphere along with various amenities, although it has several shortcomings. The standard suite offered basic comfort but lacked modern updates, including malfunctioning air conditioning and damaged walls. We chose a room package for nine people for a full-day visit that cost between 700 and 800 TK, with an additional entry fee of 100 TK that was later adjusted. The room rental was 3,000 TK.
While the separate swimming pools were enjoyable, they became overcrowded in the afternoons. The food quality was average, but finding hair in our meals was disappointing. Overall, the resort is suitable for a short visit of about two to three hours. Nonetheless, we enjoyed our time there.
So pretty, the whole resort was wholesome to take a look at. Would I recommend someone to come from one point of Dhaka to here? Probably not. Only if they're visiting Keraniganj, they can have a glance!
